When searching for Scar Treatment products, check the ingredients lists for Silicone/Dimethicone. This is the only ingredient documented to be effective on scars via scientific studies published in reputable medical journals. Other ingredients may be good for the skin, but when added to Scar Treatment products, they can actually decrease effectiveness.
This stuff is amazing. I’ve had some pre skin cancer spots removed with stitches. The first one I did not know about Scarfade and the second one I did and what a difference from the first scar and the second. This stuff is great to have on hand even for the little cuts you might get.
